MEET MARIELLE

Hi friends. Welcome. I'm Marielle, (pronounced Mary-elle), happy to be here to support the healing of Earth through humanity. The basis of my offerings are rooted in empowering you to remember the fullness of who you are through embodied expression.

I believe that when we believe in ourselves, anything is possible.

I love to meditate with a nice cup of herbal tea, live to jump in as many clean, cold, clear mountain rivers as possible, love flying down a mountain on my board, and consider flowers to be a very important food group.

What matters most to me is being with nature and living in integrity.

The path has unfolded to support me in teaching sound healing to students all over the world, complete a doula training for the mamas, a 200 hour vinyasa yoga teacher training, several years deep in study with and devoted to growing medicinal herbs, soul exploration through a shamanic apprenticeship, and an undergraduate degree in ecological agriculture.

Philly birthed, Vermont raised, and Kaua’i initiated... Now I’m grateful to get to share sound support and teach from the magical high mountain valley of Crested Butte, Colorado.

I’ve overcome several health issues holistically, from anxiety and feeling unmotivated with low energy, to womens health imbalances, to chronic backpain and generally living life from feeling like I need to have a very tight grip on the wheel at all times. Now most days I’m not so afraid to live, and can enjoy embracing the fullness of who I am. I wish this for you too.

My prayer is for your highest liberation.

“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”

The backstory…

Born of a sensitive nature, for many years I didn’t know that my senses were heightened. I started practicing yoga around 17 to help manage the intense anxiety that seemed to loom in the back of my mind, and soon after spent my first summer organic farming among my best friends parents blueberry bushes. I fell in love with the earth in a new way as one who grew up in the suburbs. Growing food helped me realize it’s our duty to steward this planet. After spending several years and dedicating my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont to ecological agriculture, eventually I fell madly and wholly in love… with the wild ones.

Medicinal herbs stole my heart and focus, and were convenient bonuses found in the many of Vermont’s organic farm fields I was blessed to tend in my early twenties. I spent years devoted to the plants, and often felt they were my dear friends through even the darkest of days. Eventually a sister phoned and shared she dreamt that I studied with Gaia; soon after I connected with the honorable Sage Maurer of the Gaia School of Healing where I was fortunate enough to spend two years apprenticing and learning from the plant spirits themselves. Communing with the plants in this still and sacred way has shaped me — they taught me how to listen.

And while how exactly the web was woven is now hard to recall, I remember fiercely the day I met Sierra McFeeters of Indigenous Roots Institute. Humbled to finally meet the earthen woman I had heard of for years, I soon embarked on a year long shamanic apprenticeship with her guidance and support. (Mind you this was not new age, ungrounded love light fluff, we’re talking real, ancient, earth medicine. Soul work.)

Needless to say, that year changed me. I learned what dark night of the soul meant, and how frightening initiations can feel. It humbled me in all of the ways necessary to be able to hold space for lightwork and others transformations. In my experience this soul level healing is unparalleled, and what is naturally integrated in all sessions through sound support. It’s truly an honor.

Somewhere along the dirt roads of northern Vermont around 2017 I began to appreciate two young women in my community, though I didn’t quite understand what it was that they did. It turns out they were Eileen McKusick’s first two apprentices, and I found myself in the right place at the right thyme. Living nearby the creatrix of Biofield Tuning, this growing sound healing modality that uses tuning forks in a very specific way to help reduce the effects of stress, offered me the opportunity for a deep dive into the world of vibration. Biofield Tuning has greatly helped change the way I’m able to walk in the world now. Upon receiving my first sound session I was elated, finally felt organized and calm, and immediately signed up for the first level of Biofield Tuning training.

Now trained as an advanced Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner, the basis of my practices focuses with therapeutic vibration from tuning forks to help your whole body and being remember balance. I’m grateful to have been invited into Eileen McKusick’s Biofield Tuning teacher training program, and now am one of the handful of instructors to share Biofield Tuning worldwide.
